Open University launches Commonwealth degrees The Open University inaugurated two Commonwealth Executive Master of Business Administration and Public Administration Degrees recently with professor Mohan Menon of Commonwealth of Learning (COL) as the chief guest and professor L. Watawala as the guest of honour. It was officially launched by Chairman COL in July in South Africa during Pan Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning. This program is a new initiative in executive education for Commonwealth citizens. It is the outcome of close collaboration between Commonwealth of Learning and national open universities of several Asian countries including Sri Lanka. The program is designed as a two-year part time study for professionals to meet the growing demand for postgraduate level education in business and public administration. |
