Hemas Pharmaceutical Pte. Ltd., the local agent for many regional and global pharmaceutical companies, relaunched its sales and distribution operations in Jaffna recently.

Among the activities that marked the launch was a symposium for pharmacists, which was attended by over 60 pharmacists from the area. The highlight of the symposium was a lecture by Dr. Shashidharan of the Jaffna Hospital on the theme 'Good Pharmacy Practices and Administration'.

The company will shortly cover other areas which were not accessible in the past.

Medical education updates to chemists and doctors which the company sponsor will also be extended to the Jaffna area.

The launch coincided with the appointment of Sunrise Traders (Ambigi Galanchiyam) as the new distributor for Hemas Pharmaceutical in Jaffna.
