Praguna Management Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. was honoured by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka for its contribution to Sri Lanka's economic development at the Entrepreneur of the Year 2001 awards ceremony with a merit award for the Western Province.

Managing Director Praguna Dhammika Jayasuriya and Director Operations T. B. B. Sumith initiated this five year old company.

It provides consultancy on quality, environment and other management compliance systems for industrial manufacturing and service sectors to meet both local and international standard certification and accreditation management systems, management auditing for processes and climate studies by method analysis.

Companies dealing with garments, civil construction, support industries for garments, cross industrial sectors, plantations, value added plants in tea and rubber, herbal and ayurvedic products, hotel services and food sectors are Praguna's clientele.

The company specialises in site training, has worked in eight provinces, and trained 100,000 employees from top management, to factory floor level.

It also supplies corporate and middle management site trainers through its strategic partners in Australia and India.
