The contemporary music arrangements are by Rajiv Sebastian, whose band Rajiv and the Clan backed Dalreen on the tracks. The CD was recorded at the Torana Recording Studio and produced by Torana Music Box. Guest singers who duet with Dalreen on the CD are the popular Desmond de Silva, Ronnie Leitch and Rajiv. The eighteen exciting tracks on the CD include two sets of medleys which are ideally entertaining enhanced by the music arrangements. The songs include Oba Ma Satuvei Kiya, Ran Kurullai, Tikiri Sina, Chuda Manike, Apa Dedena Pamanak, Aadara Lokaye and more. On Gepalata Aawa she duets with Desmond while with Ronnie, Dalreen sings Kelle Kelle. Further duets are with Rajiv on Raththaran Manik and with Tahani, her daughter Dalreen sings Nalawena Mavu Ukule. The original music arrangements of the songs featured on the CD are by Clarence Wijewardena, Stanley Pieris, Ernest Soyza, Janapriya Weeraratne, Sarath Dasanaike and Raymond Fonseka. Dalreen who had a hectic season singing at many open air concerts is now featured weekly on Thursdays at the JAIC with her band Replay comprising Calvin on keyboards/vocals and Mano - guitar/vocals. |
