Aquarius - back in Dubai a second time

Aquarius - (L-R) Benjy, Mangala, Sheru, Shiran and Conny (from India).

As you read this today Aquarius led by that dynamic bassist/singer Benjy Ranabahu are now in Dubai again playing an active scene in new surroundings. The band was signed up by Eureka Hotel, Dubai after their successful run at Quality Inn - Horizon Hotel, playing at Horse Shoe Night Club Aquarius left last week and Benjy before he took flight said that their usual keyboardist Ray will be staying behind to work a duo scene. Their new keyboardist is Conny Fernandez from India whom Benjy is very happy with and has fitted in easily with all their requirements in music.

He wishes Ray - "the Lionel Ritchie" as they fondly called him, all the best in his new career.

Ofcourse the others in Aquarius are Mangala Weerasinghe, Sheru the female glitz and Shiran Munasinghe.

Aquarius, Benjy tells us are scheduled to work a long contract in Dubai, quite naturally since the band has always been successful in making patrons enjoy their music by dancing till early morn. So here's wishing Aquarius further success at Eureka in Dubai!
