Monday night's coming up
again, once more
it's time to fall in love
and listen to the radio.
To that channel 99.9
and listen to that Hunter, Nick
that Love Doc of "Sun"
who helps the love sick.
Thilan Perera's his name,
born on the 10th of May.
His star sign's Capricorn,
his twenty one years of age.
"Late Night Love"
he's been doing for two months,
ever since Loui
took a break from "Sun".
Of the show Thilan says,
"It connects people together,
mainly because of the music,
it helps build bonds with one another.
Love is a common thing,
And people use the show.
To express their feelings,
to their loved ones at home".
So Cupid in the form of Nick
reads out these huge dedications,
which he says are sometimes so long
it's like reading out a prescription.
"It's not just couples who call up
but people with crushes too.
They call up and say,
it's from You Know Who".
So what's it like being the Doc?
"Well there's no answer to what love is,
but I just give out pieces of advice
on how to strengthen a relationship".
So what's the Doc's advice
on this capricious thing called love?
"Don't be too possessive, trust your partner
don't hide anything, be honest".

vary from the seventies to 2003.
Songs which bring on that mood, love
for which music holds the key.
The main kick of doing the show
Thilan says is when the phones ring.
His fav love song's "When you love someone"
"It tells you what love really means".
Wonder what's it like
Being Nick Hunter up in the studio?
"Well there's this huge mike and amazing view
and it's bum freezing cold".
When Thilan first joined "Sun"
he did the "Early Shift" from twelve to six
in the morning by the way,
five times a week.
"I still do three over nights.
Two "Early Shifts" and "Weekend eve".
I work too hard, thanks to Jason
he's absolutely drilling me".
Of schooling, Thilan's been to three
Maldives, Alethia and R.I.
His got a mum, dad and elder brother
"whose four years elder than I".
Of hobbies he loves his pets,
which consists of a mini zoo.
Two tortoises, two dogs
fish and budgerigars too.
Thilan also loves to sleep
"Which thanks to Jason I get not much".
Music's his biggest passion.
He likes wearing comfy stuff.
Not being a fan of vegis,
Thilan's greatest fear's at the moment Sars.
In the future-a sound engineer
he wants to be, with the music and media.
His biggest influence's-Casper,
"He really inspired me".
Wife and ranch, on a chair with legs up
in fifty years time he wants to be.
Most embarrassing moment-
To school-with the zip open he went by.
"I was wondering why it was so cold there,
it was when I reached the gates I realised why".
So who is Nick Hunter?
Thilan says, his smile says everything.
I'm a down to earth, easy going person,
who likes to do scary things".
"When I was trying to get into "Sun"
"Give Up" was what people used to say.
I never did, I believed in my dreams
now look where I am today".
Any last words? "Yes"
