Musical therapy from Saybhan

Saybhan and his Society Band commencing last week are featured on the Commercial Service of SLBC on Sunday mornings in a programme series entitled 'Musical Therapy' from 9.06 a.m. to 9.21.

Since the formation of this band three years ago, Saybhan has been playing for the pleasure of those who are today's 'marginalised folk' in society. On June 14 the band will be featured at a concert organised by the Ranaviru Seva Authority for the injured and disabled soldiers.

The Society Band will be sponsored by Hatton National Bank Ltd. Besides this concert Saybhan and the Society Band will be in action at the 'Musical Therapy' concert organised by the Friends of Sahanaya on Saturday July 5.
