New concept in outdoor advertising

3M Scotchprint graphics known internationally to deliver high impact, high resolution graphics and create a major value addition to the advertising industry by increasing "top of the mind recall", is now in Sri Lanka through 3M Lanka, a wholly-owned subsidiary of 3M Corporation, USA.

Unlike outdoor advertising which is limited to hoardings, and painted sides of vehicles and buildings, this technology allows use of the whole surface, the windows and doors so that the advertisement could be spread across a large area.

It is widely used in the Asia Pacific, USA and Europe, and will be implemented here through the Commercial Graphics division of 3M Lanka. The basic raw material used in these outputs is vinyl, on to which the graphics are printed, using a digital printer. A big breakthrough this technology has made is the ability to have the graphics printed on the windows through the 3M Perforated Window Marking Film.

3M Lanka will install a specialized printer making such advertising accessible to all organizations.
