Ranesh Perera at MAC Spin Foundation in Chennai

Ranesh Nishan Perera - the young Josephian cricketer left for India for a two-week intensive coaching stint at the MAC Spin Foundation in Chennai. Perera's trip is sponsored by Sri Lanka Cricket Association in the United Kingdom.

Earlier, Ranesh Perera went on tour to England with the under 15 cricket team and his progress has been monitored by the Sri Lanka Cricketers Association (UK). Former Indian Test spinner Erappuli Prasanna and other ex-Test players will be in charge at MAC Spin Foundation will be in charge of the training.

Sri Lanka Cricketers Association (UK) members Sarath Randeniya (former Secretary), S. Kasturiratne (former President) in association with Bandula Warnapura of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka have been instrumental in making the trip of Ranesh Perera to India possible.
