Lankpro (Ceylon) Ltd has introduced Touchmate computer systems to Sri Lanka.

Touchmate is a Dubai-based PC manufacturer, which has been in operation for more than 15 years. It is the market leader in the United Arab Emirates, and is a major brand across the Gulf States, selling more than 3000 units per month across the region.

Touchmate has several major customers in Dubai such as the Ministry of Health, the Police, the Municipality and the Hilton Jumeirah. Its products are exported to 38 countries including the UK and India. Lankpro has been awarded sole exclusive distributor rights for Touchmate products in Sri Lanka.

Touchmate systems are said to use genuine Intel Processors and are certified 'Intel Product Integrator' for Intel Middle East. Touchmate is a Direct OEM Partner of Microsoft and Microsoft Gulf has declared Touchmate systems as an "advisable hardware configuration". All Touchmate systems are manufactured using components from ISO 9002 qualified factories. Touchmate is not restricted to manufacturing PCs. It supplies a broad variety of PC accessories, including custom-made LCD screens, computer furniture and UPSs. An assortment of PC peripherals including digital cameras, headphones and home theatre systems are among its products.

Lankpro, established in 1979, has been providing IT solutions since 1994. It was one of the first companies in Sri Lanka to import used PCs and since then, has established itself as a market leader in customer support and hardware servicing.
