LTTE proposal : Thamilselvan expects positive response by Ananth Palakidnar The leader of the LTTE's political wing S. P. Thamilselvan expressed confidence, that the Government would consider positively the North-East Interim Administration proposals finalised in Dublin on Friday. Thamilselvan confirmed the finalisation of the IA proposals prior to his departure from Ireland to Denmark on Friday. Expressing his views in a radio interview, Thamilselvan said that apart from their own legal and constitutional experts, Northern Ireland and South African political experts have also assisted in giving valuable advice in preparing the proposals. Thamilselvan will stay in Denmark for a couple of days and will leave for Norway later this week for further discussions with Norwegian officials. Thamilselvan will return to Colombo from Oslo on October 18. |
