'The Mix' - zings with Misty

Give yourself a treat and catch the zinging sounds of Misty mid week (Wednesdays) and Thursdays at 'The Mix', Taj Samudra. It is an ideal after dark chill out spot and as the name implies offers a variety of live entertainment throughout the week with different bands sporting different styles.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays Warren and RMC are in live action with their special brand of music. When Friday comes along there's Summerset to entertain you and on Sundays the duo Warren and Rozette are gear themselves specially for you.

The band Misty which started off in 1997 as a duo playing at Giravaru and Banyan Tree Resorts in the Maldives also had a year's stint at Robinson Club, Bentota before they moved into the Colombo circuit.

Led by Rajitha Rupasinghe vocals and keyboards, Misty by popular demand expanded themselves into a five piece outfit two years ago and found quick success, performing not only here in Sri Lanka, but was a popular choice in Australia and Dubai, to play at dances.

Because of their style in music Misty was also fortunate in being chosen for some of the SriLankan Airlines promotions to date and the other members of this energetic group are Dhammika Caldera - guitar/keyboards/vocals, Dennis Alwis - drums, Marlon Mendis - guitar and Sanjeewa Hettige - bass/vocals.
