LTTE still committed to peace The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam hierarchy looking forward to a meeting with the Norwegian facilitators this week reiterated their commitment towards observing the ceasefire and continuing with the peace process. LTTE's media spokesperson Daya Master told the Sunday Observer that the organisation was monitoring the political developments in the south carefully and expected changes to take place. "On our part, we are committed to the peace process and our leadership held a meeting with all regional political heads of the organisation and discussed in detail the southern political situation with regard to the peace process," he said. Master also said that during the discussions with the Norwegian facilitators this week the LTTE would explore the possibilities of resuming talks further discussions will also take place on the Interim Administration proposals, submitted to the United National Front Government.
