The much talked of and fabulous Re-Union Concert of the Super Golden Chimes held at the BMICH is now history.
The live recording has captured the ambience and emotion of that night when Annesley Malewana, Dickson Gunarathne, Srikantha Dasanayake, Paul Pereira, Rukshan Perera, Sunil Malewana, Nimal Perera, Chandral Fonseka and Cumar Peiris came together on one stage to pay tribute in song to their popular leader Clarence. All the Super Golden Chimes top hits were sung that day sung either individually by the members or as a medley of songs. There were the many Western hits as well to which Super Golden Chimes were associated with, like Under the Sun, Moon & Stars,' 'Show Me The Way', 'Play the Funky Music', the Bee Gees medley, 'Cream Puff' 'Ballad of John and Yoko' and Rukshan Perera's acapella performance of a medley of songs which received a thunderous applause and also his version of the exciting hip song 'On Broadway.' Relive the moments with this special DVD of the Re-Union Concert. |
