The inagural St. Peter's College Old Boys Union (OBU) organised Invitation Peace Basketball Tournament saw the host team book a semi-final berth to meet St. Michael's, Batticaloa and St. Anne's, Kurunegela versus Maris Stella, Negombo today at Bambalapitiya. However, the Peterites did concede a 47 to 64 win to St. Anthony's, Katugastota having led 38-21 at half time.

St. Anne's Kurunegala beat Holy Cross 75-64. Half time (36-26), Maris Stella beat St. Anthony's, Katugastota 66-63. Half time (36-28), St. Michael's, Batticaloa beat St. Patrick's, Jaffna 78-36. Half time (43-26), Maris Stella beat St. Joseph's, Trincomalee 29-22, St. Anne's beat St. Michael's 36-30, Holy Cross Kalutara beat St. Patrick's, Jaffna 26-24.
