President of JVC visits Sri Lanka Abans hosted the JVC Convention 2003 at the Hilton Ballroom recently. The Chief Guest at the function was Mr. Tsutomo Urabe, President of JVC Asia and Middle East. Also present on the occasion was Mr. Yoshiki Matsushima, General Manager of JVC Gulf, Directors of the Abans Group of Companies, over 200 delegates and journalists. The JVC Convention and the presence of Mr. Tsutomo Urabe, president of JVC Asia and Middle East signifies a huge commitment by JVC in Sri Lanka. The launch of JVC's state-of-the-art latest range of Audio and Video equipment at this convention also signalled that JVC is planning massive promotions of their high-end, quality products in the Sri Lankan market. An interesting introductory presentation of JVC's newest audio-video equipment was made by Mr. Jude Menezes and Mr. S.D. Jonathan of JVC Gulf. The highlight of the convention was the presentation of appreciation awards to Abans Showroom Managers who had excelled in reaching high sales targets in selected JVC appliances. Thirty-Nine "High Achievers" received air tickets to Egypt with Nile Cruises. Fourteen "High Achievers" received air tickets to Dubai while five others received air tickets to Singapore. JVC products are maintained by Abans Service Centres and Authorized Service Stations which maintain an efficient and quick after-sales-service on the same lines as other products marketed by Abans. |
