Thomian Rodrigo sparkles with 65 off 62 balls in drawn STC-SBC match A hurricane knock of 65 in 62 balls by P. Rodrigo with six fours and two sixes for S. Thomas' in their first innings was the highlight in yesterday's drawn schools cricket match with St. Benedict's at Kotahena. The Bens made 276 in their first innings and the Thomians replied with 270. Ananda golf tourney Jan 25 The second annual Ananda Golf Tournament organised by the Ananda Business Group will be held at the picturesque of golf links of the Victoria Golf and Country Resort at Rajawella on Sunday, January 25 commencing at 7.30 a.m. This golf championship was the maiden effort last year and turned out to be a roaring success with a very large number of golfers participating. This year the organisers expect around 150 golfers to tee off for the championship honours which apart from the gentlemen will be open ladies and children too and will be played on a stableford format.
