Two of our best for Asia Pacific AdFest The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies ( 4 A's) will send two of Sri Lanka's best creative talent for the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (AdFest) 2004 to be held from March 18,20 in Pattaya, Thailand. Ransley Burrows, of Grant McCann Erickson, and Leyon Rajaratna of Holmes Pollard and Stott, were selected by a panel comprising members of the 4 A's and top marketing professionals, to be the exclusive guests of this AdFest. During the 3-day festival Leyon and Ransley will participate in special programmes and creative workshops as part of their reward, while being guests of the general AdFest programmes, meeting leading creative professionals from the region, sharing ideas and gaining the necessary exposure to gear them for future challenges and opportunities. This AdFest is the brainchild of Vinit Surapongchai, who had made a presentation recently to the local advertising and marketing industry, with the aim of providing an inspiring atmosphere for creative people in the Asia Pacific region, where outstanding ideas could be encouraged and rewarded by their peers. While the creative competition is an integral part of the AdFest, the event offers much more in terms of giving delegates the chance to absorb and learn and exchange views with their colleagues. The creative show is supplemented by international speakers, providing further visions on creativity throughout the world. |
