'Angels' - off to Jordan

Off to Jordan and Dubai to perform gigs is the trio Angels led by keyboardist Priyantha Fernando who has had ten years of experience as a musician playing with the Sri Lanka Police Band.

Quite naturally having been a member of the Police Band Priyantha's experience in arranging music holds him in good stead. The other members of the trio are vocalist Sunil Fernando, who himself counts fifteen years in the industry and lead guitarist and vocalist Anuska Perera.

The trio before they left for the UAE were playing regularly at Hotel Villa Queen View at Wadduwa and the Induruwa Beach Hotel at Induruwa.

What is significant about the trio's performances is that they perform most of their own compositions and will be doing so during their tour of Jordan and Dubai. The band left on Thursday March 4.
