Hotel room booking thro' People's Bank

Rooms of hotels and rest houses that come under the Ceylon Hotels Corporation (CHC) can now be booked through the People's Bank branches in main cities islandwide.Deputy General Manager (Finance) CHC, Palitha Kannangara, said that as a result of this, booking could be arranged from outstations without visiting Colombo and this would also minimise unnecessary expenses, travel,time and energy as well.

Kannangara said that the facility of booking through the Internet would be introduced shortly for the convenience of the public .

"The CHC has become a profit making establishment these days" said CHC Marketing Manager Ranjith Balasuriya.(CM)
