First ever remote controlled ceiling fans by Hayleys Consumer Ceiling fans which can be controlled from a distance of 40 feet (12 metres) with the use of a remote control device has been introduced to Sri Lanka for the first time by Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd., (HCPL), the sole agents for Xcella. The two remote controlled models Xcella 2000 and Xcella KSD are manufactured in Sri Lanka and incorporate state-of-the-art electronics with conventional ceiling fans to provide increased convenience, durability and greater efficiency, the company said. Hayleys Consumer General Manager Fuard Saibukandu said these innovative remote control fans were developed and manufactured using local expertise following research into the latest trends in customer preferences. These fans have been manufactured to the highest international standards and come with an infrared wireless remote control handset and stop timer operation which enable users to set timings of up to seven and a half hours. They are available in customised shades as well as in white, black and antique brown with fittings to suit a wide range of interiors and an array of speed regulator types in different shades. The use of high quality components delivers super silent operation, Sarath Chandrasiri, Factory Manager of Hayleys Consumer said. To increase durability, these fans have low noise ball bearings, superior quality copper winding wire with double enamel insulation, a fully automated winding process, dynamically balanced pressure die cast motor units and aluminium blades for rust proof operation, Chandrasiri said. Xcella remote control fans are extremely energy efficient, with minimal heating. They are backed by a two year Hayleys warranty and an after-sales service which is second to none," he added. Hayleys Consumer also markets a range of Xcella sewing machines and Usha Lexus appliances from Usha Shriram of India in addition to consumer products of major international brands such as Philips, Fujifilm, Daewoo, Kenwood, Bayer, Godrej and Daytron. |
