South Korea dominate ladies golf

South Koreans dominate the first three positions at the end of the fourth round (end of April) of the 12 round Stableford Golf Championship of the Ladies Section of the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) now being worked off at the Ridgeways. This is being sponsored by Multilac with Colombo Plaza giving away vouchers to the monthly winners.

The fifth round will be at the end of this month.

I. O. Kim heads the ratings after the fourth round with 143 points, followed by H. R. Bang (140) and N. H. Yoon (137). In fourth place is a former national champion Suwaneetha Selvaratnam (134), followed by J. Hung (126), Kumari Herath (126), Fran de Mel (124), Surangani Gunasinghe (123), Roshani Sangani (122) and Yvonne Abhayaratne (102), who is also a former national champion.

I. O. Kim won the January and March monthly events, while H. R. Bang won in February and Yvonne Abhayaratne in April.
