Dialog expands with Siedles Dialog GSM entered into a dealership agreement with Siedles (Pvt) Ltd. Under the agreement, Siedles will now be an authorised showroom dealer of Dialog GSM for both pre-paid and post-paid services. Dialog GSM connections can be obtained through Siedles showrooms and their dealers islandwide. The agreement also enables Siedles to have a presence at Dialog GSM arcades throughout the country. Jude Tissera,Dialog GSM Principal Marketing Channels officer said,that the introduction of Siedles as their business partner was made to strengthen their position in expanding the channel reaching the regions. He also said that the unique selling advantage of possessing a strong brand name such as Siedles and its long-standing relationship with Sony would no doubt help penetrate the retail as well as corporate market. Tissera noted the ability of Sony Ericsson to manufacture the product of the future together with the marketing expertise and effectiveness of a strong retailer like Siedles would definitely create a strategic fit needed for commercial success. Rajen Udeshi,Director of Siedles (Pvt) Ltd welcoming the partnership said that Dislog GSM was a company they had always admired for its efficiency and innovations. The range of value added services offered by the Dialog GSM would ensure that users would be able to make the most of their Sony Ericsson phones - for which Siedles became the authorised distributor in Sri Lanka. |
