Salon Nayana for India

Nayana Karunaratne of Salon Nayana has been instrumental in revolutionizing the concepts of beauty culture among Sri Lankans for over 24 years. As the enterprise prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, plans are underway to mark this occasion by venturing into newer and more dynamic endeavors to uplift the hair and beauty industry in Sri Lanka and in the Asian region.Established in 1980, Salon Nayana has expanded to incorporate ten branches located at Bambalapitiya, Kollupitiya Nugegoda, World Trade Centre, Kohuwela, Airport Garden Hotel, Taj Exotica Hotel and Wattala, as well as in Chennai and recently at Bangalore.

Following success from its first overseas establishment in Chennai that was inaugurated in 2002 Salon Nayana will expand its branch network to include Bangalore in May 2004.

The salon at Bangalore will specialize in skincare, hair care, facials, manicures and pedicures in a spacious and hygienic ambiance. "Bangalore is an unsaturated market with premium demand for quality hair and beauty services," Nayana noted.

In addition, Nayana's chain of salons will be extended to Wattala in May 2004 as well. This branch will present a host of styling services and unique features. Housed in a 3-storeyed complex, the new salon will provide state-of-the-art facilities. The salon will operate seven days a week and will remain open after hours to accommodate customers.

An exclusive gent's salon will be among the spotlight attractions. Using world-class branded products and techniques; fashion conscious men can now be treated to cuts, coloring, styling, skincare and nailcare in a more relaxed atmosphere.
