Air Link's Managing Director, Palitha Kulasinghe said that Air Link operates on a worldwide basis and offers services in the fields of international transportation, forwarding and logistics. Air Link is supported by their own branch offices in the USA, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal with strong and competent partners in Europe and other continents.

The SWG Group owns and operates the Airlink and Sealink (NVOCC) net works comprising SWG Logistics (USA), Sea Link USA Inc, Airline net work in Turkey, South and West Asia, Sea Link network in Turkey, South and West Asia, Strategic Alliance Partners SDV Logistics Int'l, covering worldwide.

The company is managed by a team of qualified and experienced professional managers under the policy guidance of the board of directors consisting of Sundandan Ray (President SWG Group USA), Sudesh Bhagat (Vice President Airlink India) Palitha Kulasinghe (Executive Director and MD Sri Lanka) and Tony de Livera (Director). In addition to Airlink's local city office, the company has an air port office at the Air Cargo Village at Bandaranaike International Air Port, Katunayake.

Vice President Sudesh Baghat said that Air Link, with offices all over USA and Europe was growing in strength and doing successful business.

Director, Tony de Livera said that Air Link is not one of the giants in the international field, but by the quality of its service, it is big.

Over the years, the company has been bought and sold more than once. From 1988 to 1994 the company made inroads into its business and then with the depressing economy, suffered a setback. Now, the company is again in good business. Air Lank honoured most of its longstanding employees, including those who have left the service.
