The Prisoner's Song

All time favourites and songs that have remained evergreens over the years will be a family entertainment package to raise funds to rehabilitate prisoners and help them become responsible citizens rather than be a burden to society.

The show which will be staged on Friday August 6 and Saturday August 7 at the Russian Cultural Centre is a presentation of the Inner Wheel Club of Colombo Mid Town, and will feature singers like Bosco Fonseka, Denzil Perera, Clifford Richards, Kevin Francke, Shamindra and Suhardini Perera and Shenali Peiris.

The music backing will be by Friends in Harmony led by Indrani Wijesundera - piano, Nihal de Silva - drums, Premila Perimpernayagam - violin, Mervyn Mendis - saxophone and Prasaad Fernando - bass. The producer of this entertaining show is none other than Nazli Zuhyle who in the past produced the successful 'Among My Souvenirs', 'Family Harmony' and 'Alphabetically Yours.' Make sure you support this worthy cause.
