The path to success Since Sri Lanka envisages an unprecedented economic growth in every sphere through the accelerated development programs generated under the project "RATA PERATA" every person who wishes to contribute to the development of Sri Lanka and to pursue a successful career, must be equipped with vocational training. The Vision of the Peoples Academy of Tertiary and Higher Education (PATHE) is to train youth to enable them to accept and face challenges that may arise in the future job market. PATHE Academy was established in Sri Lanka in 1996 and has since provided a wide range of academic, vocational and professional courses. One of the main streams of PATHE is that it is the only establishment offering full range of Paramedical (professions supplementary to medicine) training. The lecturers of PATHE are academically qualified persons holding MBBS, MD and PhD along with a wealth of professional experience in their respective fields. The Methodologies used at PATHE are lectures, lab practical training, on the job training, workshops, seminars, discussions and tests, to mention a few. PATHE Academy has also conducted a number of seminars and workshops for both the private and public sector aiming to develop the quality of education. Recently, PATHE was involved in organizing a seminar and workshop in association with the Folk University of Sweden. This Institution emphasises the development of inborn talents of the trainees through on the job training methodology. Furthermore, PATHE Academy is constantly in the process of innovating unique formulae to upgrade their training standards to go along with the changing world. Another special feature of PATHE is its chain of laboratories situated in various parts of the country to provide the students living in regional areas convenient access to education. This is only a fraction of the proof to say that PATHE's focus is on its students and greater care is taken to provide the best education to the students. PATHE's prime vision is to offer equal and convenient access to tertiary and vocational educational training to all those who wish to pursue education in their chosen career. PATHE's affiliation with a number of universities from all over the world has won the prestigious status as one of the trusted academies providing useful and quality education on vocational training. PATHE is affiliated with Folk University of Sweden, London College of Management, United Kingdom and the London College of Information Technology, United Kingdom amongst many other universities from New Zealand, Australia. |
