Full stop for shoplifting

Telemass (Pvt) Ltd. will launch a new Radio Frequcny Electronic Article Surveillance (RF EAS) System in collaboration with Lucatron Group of Companies, founded in Japan.

The Lucatron Group of Companies, comprise four worldwide subsidiaries: Lucatron Japan (Tokyo) Pte Ltd. Lucatron Pacific (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Lucatron Europe (Zurich) Pte Ltd. and Lucatron America (Chicago) Pte Ltd.

Lucatron Group focuses on two basic product lines; Equipment and Disposable labels for Radio Frequency, Electronic Article Surveillance usage and Programmable "Smart Labels" and equipment for Radio Frequency Identification (RF ID) applications.

Lucatron's EAS Systems consist of sensors, deactivators, hard tags and labels, which will sound an alarm unless they have been deactivated at the point of sale.

This is a proven approach in apprehending shoplifters, hard tags and labels, which will sound an alarm unless they have been deactivated at the point of sale.

This is a proven approach in apprehending shoplifters, thereby preventing losses, which translates into sales and margin improvements.

Lucatron's EAS Wide Aisle Systems, along with the recommended Hard Tags and Labels, ensure best performance in terms of reliability and easy installations.

Lucatron's disposable paper-thin labels are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are compatible with all existing 8.2 MHZ RF technology systems. The company also offers a diversified range of hard tags that are tamper proof and of sturdy design. For deactivation and of EAS labels, Lucatron's product range also covers a set of deactivators and verifies.

Lucatron's second focus lies on RFID labels and equipment.

The programable "smart tags" are paper-thin etched aluminum labels assembled with an integrated circuit, which allows programming and communication via radio frequency to readers measuring more than one meter apart. Applications for this technology are vast and fast evolving in areas of Asset/Document Tracking, Logistics/Library Management Systems and Mass Transport Payment Applications.

Lucatron is one of the first companies to produce smart labels at high volumes in a roll format, which results in cost competitive products. The Lucatron aluminium etching process to manufacture disposable labels is engineered to produce an environmentally friendly by-product rather than the chemical waste, which can be considered the industry's first environmentally friendly etching process.

The spokespersons of Telemass (Pvt) Ltd. further explained that the company is the sole agent/Distributor of Ontime Security Systems, which is manufactured in China. In addition, it is a subsidiary company of Mobistar Telecom (Pvt) Ltd a direct Dealer for Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd., in the Sri Lanka Telecommunication Industry.
