'On positioning for 2005 and beyond'

The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in partnership with MCG Global has organized a series of professional education programs for marketing and other professionals with Dr. Sunil Erevelles.

The program will be held from 25 to 27 November at the Transasia Hotel. The first program will be on "The New Art and Science of Marketing - The new Marketing Model"; the second program will be on "The Promotion and Branding Strategies of Market Leaders" and the final program will be on "The Future of Business - Impact of Technology, Marketing, Innovation, Intellectual Capital and New Business Models". The final program will be of particular interest to all leaders and managers in business and government.

Professor S. Erevelles PhD is an Associate Professor of Marketing, the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, NC, USA. His areas of specialty are the New Economy, Competitive Advantage, Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Management, Customer Service, The Future of Technology and E Commerce/E Marketing and Global, Marketing.

His research has been published in various journals including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, and Journal of Information Technology and Management.

Dr. Erevelles is one of the most powerful speakers in the world and has electrified executives and top managers in every part of the world including the USA, Europe, Latin America, Australia and Asia. He has also been a guest of several governments and has won numerous teaching awards.

He has been heard in Sri Lanka by top and senior managers from MAS Holdings, MAST, Jinadasa Holdings, Hirdaramani Group.
