New services for motor vehicles from SLI

Sri Lanka Insurance recently announced new enhanced services to its clients. The company now provides immediate assessment of damage and repair approval for all motor accidents in any part of the island. In case of a motor accident, the customer has to simply call the company's 24 hour call centre on 235,7000 at which point an officer will be despatched immediately to the place of accident in order to evaluate and assess the damage and also give approval for the repair. The objective of this new service is, ensure that the customers vehicle damage is assessed correctly and accurately in order to get the claim processed and paid speedily with no hassles.

The company which has an online network of over 75 branches provides this service to all its motor policy holders and covers the whole country including the north and east. The Sri Lanka Insurance Call centre is operational 24 hours a day 365 days of the year and not only serves as an accident reporting point but also provides information to its clients on insurance matters.

In order to serve its customers even better and to enhance service the company also operates 24 hour service counters in its offices in Colombo and Kandy. The company has come a long way in building close relationships with its customers and providing an efficient & enhanced service since its privatisation in the early part of 2003.

The ground floor of the company's head office in Vauxhall Street has already been functioning as a customer service centre for over 6 months. Here, all customers can get their insurance needs attended to at one service point, be it Life Insurance, Motor Insurance or any other insurance.
