'California Grapes in Colombo' The California Table Grape Commission launched a promotion campaign in partnership with Cargills Food City outlets in Colombo (Staple Street and Park Road), Nawala and Kandy. Recipe booklets featuring extraordinary menu concepts will be available free during the promotion. Ambassador of the United States Jeffery J. Lunstead participated in the promotion that started on Friday, 5th of November. In support of this initiative, Ambassador Lunstead commented that world-renowned California Grapes are an example of outstanding American agricultural products available to the Sri Lankan consumer. I welcome this initiative to introduce more Sri Lankans to this healthy and delicious American export," he added. |
