Courier companies improve delivery time Mex Courier and Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, the wholesale courier specialist launched its new products to the air express market in Sri Lanka. The company pioneered in establishing the new Linehauls via Cathay Pacific Airlines to Hong Kong, Auckland, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Manila, Osaka, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei, Shangai and Tokyo on unaccompanied courier baggage mode and to India on board courier mode via Air Sahara Airlines from Colombo. Mex now offers a Linehaul UCB services on Cathay Pacific flights Ex Colombo with a minimum two-hour cut off time. This service was mainly targeted to improve the delivery time and offer the courier companies who use the service a next day delivery to Hong Kong for urgent courier documents and samples. MEX Logistics L.L.C. a middle east based company has opened their office in Colombo, MEX Courier and Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, a company jointly owned by Linehaul Express (HK) Ltd, the GSA of Cathay Pacific Airlines wholesale courier mainly to expand the distribution network linking the Far-East with the South Indian continent. "We have always concentrated on giving the courier industry a cost effective, time sensitive solutions with value added services" said Managing Director Rohan M. Sivanathan while explaining their corporate strategy in developing the South Asia region. Mex Logistics mainly focuses on using Colombo as an important transshipment hub in promoting courier traffic between South India and the Far-East. |
