Dravid heroics raise Indian victory hopes CALCUTTA, India, March 19 (Reuters) - India vice-captain Rahul Dravid cracked hundreds in each innings for the second time to help his team push for victory in the second test against Pakistan on Saturday. The 32-year-old scored a solid 135 after making 110 in the first innings, guiding India to 407 for nine declared in their second innings an hour after tea on the fourth day. Chasing an imposing fourth innings target of 422 runs, Pakistan were 95 for one at stumps after opener Shahid Afridi was out for a 59-ball 59. Taufeeq Umar was 29 not out with vice-captain Younis Khan yet to score. |
