Pakistan-Lanka FTA benefits from today The Pakistan-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement (PSFTA) will come into force today. The Diplomatic Notes confirming the completion of constitutional and domestic procedures of each other were exchanged between Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Minister of Trade, Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Humayun Akhtar Khan, Minister of Commerce of the Government of Pakistan during the last session of the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission held from May 12-13 in Colombo. Under the PSFTA, Pakistan has granted 100% immediate duty free concessions for 206 items at 6 digit level of harmonised custom classification. |
