St. Anthony's 'B' Group champs

St. Anthony's College rugby team has emerged the "B" group schools champions maintaining unbeaten record in the current schools rugby season. They also won the Singer Sevens' schools championship when Kandy Sports Club organised the School Tournament along with International Rugby Sevens held recently at the Nittawela. Following are the wins scored by the Antonians.

Beat:Royal by 49 points to 17 points, St. Josephs 47-10, Science College, Colombo 24-19, Thurstan 15-Nil, Isipathana 22-05, Zahira 82-03, Dharmaraja 31-08, St. Sylvesters 51-07, Trinity College, 31-19, St.Thomas Mt. Lavinia 30-21.

St.Anthony's team was led by Zahir Riyal and was coached by Nihal Gunaratne.
