by Ranga Chandrarathne
Rock is creative, rock is a new form of expression, rock is ultimately a form of communication. SEED a new up and coming band are well on the way to providing the kind of entertainment that is called for by rock lovers. Their aim is to provide love, unity and harmony with the kind of music that they are set to play. SEED is sure to hold the audience spell- bound at their newest gig, "Tones of Fire", and will be held on November 4 at the Tower hall. And what is more SEED will be also launching their maiden CD "The River", on this day. SEED! a rather unusual name for a band , we think the name means origin- the origin of anything begins with a seed and so the name of this band follows this idea. Four talented young men who have a different vision, different concept and more than anything else a different way of entertaining rock dudes have joined to form this band. These youngsters are expecting to take their music islandwide carrying the message of love , hope and joy. "Tones of Fire' will then hold all you rock dudes on fire while SEED gets on with the music on November 4 at the Tower Hall. Although they are still a young rock band, SEED have performed at over ten stage shows. They have played with local and foreign bands.
