Nature in focus
'Nature in focus' is his second photographic exhibition which was held last week, at the Lionel Wendt, Harold Peries Gallery, where incidentally his first exhibition was also held in July, 1987. With the advent of technical improvements in photography and the sophistry of digital cameras, it has been possible to achieve results of an unprecedented magnitude.
Sri Lanka is a developing country and I personally think, in order to overcome some of the challenges she faces, promotion and encouragement of eco-tourism would be ideal.
He is also keen to promote the study of photography and the preservation of fauna, flora, among schoolchildren particularly schools that are close to National Parks, thus enabling them to understand the inherent values of wildlife and the preservation of the environment. He says "It was important to appreciate and recognize nature's bounty,
and ideally such things must not be confined to trips and picnics where
