World's smallest Flybook mini-Laptop by D. A. Wijewardena The Flybook mini-Laptop is the only computer device with an integrated phone system and one can use it to connect to the Internet and make phone calls, said Mystica Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Chairman Faiz-ur Rahman at the launch of Flybook mini-Laptop at the Hotel Galadari recently. Rahman said the compact and lightweight, laptop weighing only 1.2 kgs, the ultra-portable Flybook had been manufactured with the application of very modern technology to facilitate worldwide information technology. He also said that the Flybook mini-Laptop would be able to dominate in the education market,military services and the business world. Its bluetooth short range radio technology system integrated into Flybook will allow anyone to communicate and exchange data with other computers. Director, International Projects (Flybook) Kabir Ahmed said that Flybook was being used in the United Kingdom, Thailand, United States and Sri Lanka at present and Flybook was the world's smallest laptop comprising 50 per cent telecommunication and 50 per cent laptop. Ahmed said that it was being sold at 2,490 US dollars and anyone could get on to the Internet or an office network using the laptop wireless Wi-Fi antennae. Ahmed said that Flybook could connect anyone to the Internet and phone
services any time, anywhere in the world as it had a built-in GPR tri-band
mobile speaker phone that allows you to call, send texts or multi-media
messages and surf the Internet. |
