Kelsey sponsors 'CEO Forum' for fourth time

Kelsey Homes sponsored the LBR LBO CEO forum, which was recently concluded with a large gathering of business professionals in attendance. This was the fourth such event that took place during the current year.

Managing Director of Fonterra Brands Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. formerly New Zealand Milk Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Alastair de Raadt shared his company's experience with a very enthusiastic audience. "Fountain from the Earth; The Fonterra Story" was the topic of discussion.

De Raadt explained the history of 'New Zealand Milk' as it was known in the early days. He said that even though New Zealand was not a highly populated country it had enough natural resources to support an extensive livestock industry. New Zealand's climate and rich grasslands ensured the growth of healthy cattle and sheep, which resulted in high quality end products.

He said the Fonterra's business model was based on livestock rather than on manufacturing, as it would require much labour and capital. Fonterra was a brand that produced and supplied premium dairy products to some of the most discerning and competitive markets in the world, he said.
