Air Arabia opens new sales shop and office

In response to the growing travel market in Sri Lanka, Air Arabia LLC, the first and only low-fares airline in the Middle East, North Africa and Indian Subcontinent, opened its new sales shop in Colombo recently.

Air Arabia's branded sales shop will cater to the needs of Air Arabia's customers, whether they are the direct customer or the travel agent, offering only Air Arabia destinations and packages.

"We want to ensure that we are more accessible to our customers and through our own sales shops we can service them better and add more value to the Air Arabia experience," said Air Arabia's Manager, Sri Lanka, Mayank Dhingra. He said, "We strive to offer our customers ease of ticket booking and through our online booking service, call centres, travel agents and Air Arabia's sales shops we can now offer the customer a number of options to book their Air Arabia flight."

Just completing over two years of operations, Air Arabia has carried close to two million passengers to countries within the Middle East, North Africa and Indian Subcontinent.

Finding its niche in a region that did not previously offer the concept of low-fares travel, Air Arabia fulfils the needs of all types of travellers-whether they are travelling for business or leisure-without sacrificing on service or safety.

The airline has enabled people that were not able to afford air travel, the opportunity to do so and encouraged those that travel already to do so more often.

Air Arabia offers a convenient visit visa service for all passengers arriving in Sharjah as well as 96-hour transit visas for passengers connecting to other destinations via Sharjah.
