The finals of the Dialog GSM men's and woman's Novices Volleyball Championships on national level will be played today (Sunday February 19) at the national Youth Services Council Indoor Stadium at Maharagama.

Sri Lanka Army Homagama will battle-it-out with Christ Church SC Thudawa in the men's final at 3.00 p.m. while the women's final between Slimline SC Pannala and Vijayabha SC Hungama will be worked off at 1.00 p.m.

In the men's semi-finals, played on Wednesday, Sri Lanka Army 'spikers' defeated Combined Universities in straight sets 3-0 while Christ church SC Thudawa also overcame Vijaya SC Wanadala in straight sets 3-0.

The final round match results in the men's Novices - Combined Universities beat Spark SC Hatton 3-0, Sri Lanka Army Homagama beat Police SC, Batticalo 3-0. Vijaya SC beat Thotagama SC 3-0. Christ Church SC beat New Seeks SC Badalkimbara 3-0. Combined Universities beat Anuradhapura Training Centre Volleyball Team 3-2.
