Hotel Information Systems (HIS) Asia (Pte) Ltd last week launched its enterprise solution - Hotel Information Systems core - in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Golden Key Company Ltd. HIS Asia (Pte) Ltd is an innovative provider of enterprise solutions strategically designed for the worldwide hospitality and leisure industry.

"Our goal is to provide hotel organisations with the range of applications that will allow them to optimise their operation and provide them with valuable actionable information on a real time basis. Our software allows our users enormous flexibility in deployment and a long term lower cost of ownership", President of Hotel Information Systems Asia (Pte) Ltd Harbans Singh said.

Core is a comprehensive suite of internet native, browser delivered software applications developed by Hotel Information Systems comprised of tools for Property Management, Corporate Management, Distribution Channel Management, Central Reservations, and Reservation Portal. The suite of solutions is designed specifically to enable hoteliers to centralise multi-property operations, improve guest loyalty, increase profitability and improve revenue management.

Core is built with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology and BEA WebLogic, two of the most modern enterprise tools available allowing it to be globally deployable and highly scalable. Information is now easily available to mobile users anywhere, anytime at a click of the mouse.

Hotel Information Systems core is capable of seamlessly integrating with External Systems via XML brokers adhering to standards published by OTA.
