When Project Manhattan produced the first mushroom cloud after a nuclear explosion, the world entered another phase in the history of warfare. What this successful experiment could do to mankind was soon demonstrated when the United States made mushroom clouds rise over Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The horrors and dangers posed by nuclear war were so great that even the very scientists such as Einstein who pioneered nuclear science that produced the Atom Bomb, warned against its use in the future and joined the anti-nuclear lobby.

Having seen the power of the Atom Bomb, scientists in the US and the Soviet Union, next developed the Hydrogen Bomb which had an even bigger destructive power.

The competition in what was properly called the MAD Policy, or the Policy of Mutually Assured Destruction, somehow kept the US and Soviet Union from attacking each other, leading to the extended Cold War. It also led to forming the exclusive nuclear club where the UK, France, Israel, China, India and Pakistan are members.

Much later fake threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction, led to the Bush-Blair coalition to seek regime change and a "democracy" well oiled for the West in Iraq. With the debate over Iran's nuclear intentions, many still believe we are still in the midst of the frightening nuclear age, and the fear of so-called "rogue states" also acquiring nuclear weapons.

The Big Change

But all that changed last week in Sri Lanka. The world saw for the first time the latest weapon of mass destruction developed by the Tamil Tigers, under the guidance of their leader, Sun God Prabhakaran. This is no bomb of made metal or nuclear fission. It is made of human material and totally undetectable by the latest X-ray or other means used for seeking out concealed weapons.

At the premises of the Army Headquarters in Sri Lanka, the world had the first ever demonstration of the Foetal Bomb. With a world gone virtually numb to the use of human suicide bombs, especially by the Tamil Tigers, Prabhakaran has gone one step further and developed this new biological weapon of immeasurable destructive power.

To many this is one more case of using a woman suicide killer. But in fact it gave an indication at what was taking place in the Vanni, where, with the help of scientists from the pro-Tiger Tamil Diaspora the Foetal Bomb has been developed.

Intelligence sources had reports about a new secret weapon of the Tigers, but not many details had come in. It is now clear, however, that having trained a whole generation of men and women suicide killers, the Tigers have mastered the skill of producing an embryonic bomb with the combination of the DNA of brainwashed suicide killers of the two sexes. It is a human embryo that will develop into a Foetal Bomb, in the womb of the woman that carries it.

One can imagine the carnage or mass destruction that several pregnant carriers of these Foetal Bombs placed near strategic places can cause, whether in Sri Lanka or elsewhere. All one needs is a pregnant woman, not pregnant with a normal human being, but a specially developed foetus of destruction.

In this age of fast breeder reactors in nuclear energy and the development of nuclear power, it is possible that Prabhakaran is at present carrying on his own fast breeder biology to produce as many Foetal Bombs as possible in his determination to achieve the goal of Thamil Eelam, and also export such live violence to other parts of the world. Imagine what would happen to any State, whether rogue or not, which starts producing these Foetal bombs, pregnant with the possibility of carrying out an unimaginable number of deaths, injury and destruction.

It won't be long before the United Nations will be forced to pass resolutions and take serious action, unlike their tarrying about child soldiers, also among the chosen weapons of the Tamil Tigers, to curb the spread of the Foetal Bomb, bred in the Vanni and farmed out in Sri Lanka and elsewhere. Let's not forget that a first generation woman suicide bomber was the means of assassinating Rajiv Gandhi.

The world will soon need to have an International Foetal Bomb Agency, somewhat the lines of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to put a cap on the numbers of Foetal Bombs that any terrorist organization could have, if their production cannot be stopped.

There will be the need for international treaties ensuring Foetal Bomb free zones, and a Foetal Bomb Non-Proliferation Accord, too. There is much being said about international support for Sri Lanka in the current situation, when the first Foetal Bomb has been used to lethal effect. All such pledges of support are good to the ear, but what one would prefer to hear from those still able to do so, is about a coalition for democracy that will first seek a regime change in the Vanni, and banish the illegitimate Sun God to the nether world he belongs.

What else can one do to a master of terror, who has made people feel a sense of trepidation when close to a pregnant woman, with a real human foetus in her womb?
