Kingswood College boxers gave a superior display of boxing to win six titles at the Central Province Boxing Championships held at the Y.M.C. A. Hall in connection with the Centenary Celebrations.

Vidyartha College, Kandy and Mahanama MMV Kandy won five titles each, while Pilimatalawa MMC and Peradeniya MMV won two titles each. The best boxer at the meet was D. Wijeratne of Vidyarth College while the best loser was I. Sampath of YMCA, Kandy.

DIG Central Range Nimal Mediwaka was the chief guest.
