French scientists in Lanka

A French delegation of scientists comprising Prof. Jean-Louis SOUQUET, A. HAMMOU, Michel DULCOT and Elisabeth DJURDO participated in the 10th Asian Congress on Solid State lonics, which was held in Peradeniya recently.

These delegates are attached to the Institute National Polytechnique (INP) and the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble, France. The Congress was organised by the Post Graduate Institute of Science (PGIS) of the University of Peradeniya. Over 180 participants, mainly from Asian countries as well as from Europe, Australia and US attended this Congress.

The scientific domain covered by Solid State Ionic refers to the ionic conduction in solids for application in energy storage (lithium batteries or fuel cells), gas sensors and smart windows.
