Kongahage, ANCL Director - Editorial

Chief Executive Officer of SLBC and SLRC, Sarath Kongahage has been appointed by the Minister of Media and Information as the Director of Editorial of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd with immediate effect with the concurrence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Mr. Kongahage is a Honours Graduate in Mass Communication and also an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court.

He had been a former Member of Parliament, former Chairman - Central Provincial Council and also a former Leader of the Opposition to the Central Provincial Council.

He was formerly attached to the Bribery Commissioner’s Department and was also the Chairman of Ceynor Foundation Limited.
