Hotel Ceysands:
On the enchanting Bentota river

 Bentota beach, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating beach resorts,

Hotel Ceysands is located 60 kms. south of Colombo at Aluthgama
between the Bentota river and the sea. It offers 20 superior guest rooms
with all modern facilities, including TV, mini-bar and hair dryer, and
64 standard rooms with sea view, balcony or terrace, hot/cold water,
telephone, room service and laundry service.
The spacious restaurant serves delicious Western, Eastern, Chinese,
speciality food, sea food from the 'catch of the day' from the Bentota
beach, barbecues and buffets. A unique feature at Hotel Ceysands is the
floating restaurant 'Pontoon'.
Dining under the stars on the Bentota river on the 'Pontoon' is
certainly a unique dining experience, says the hotel's young Assistant
Manager, Maximus Waragoda. The hotel has two well-stocked bars.
Hotel Ceysands has two swimming pools, a Tennis Court and offers
water skiing, windsurfing and boat rides. Future plans of the hotel is
to construct a modern 'Ayruvedic Spa', Director/General Manager and
Chief Executive Officer, Dulip de Alwis said.
Hotel Ceysand is owned and managed by Ceylinco Tourist Hotels Ltd.
Its Chairman is Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotalawala. Mrs. S.P.C. Kotalawala
is the hotel's Deputy Chairman, while veteran hotelier, Dulip de Alwis
is the Director/General Manager and Chief Executive Officer. |
