JKCS unveils new Logo
Aviation software company JKCS, unveiled its new Corporate Logo and
named the "Employee of the Year - 2006".
Amidst fanfare, lights and streams of ice vapour a sparkling new logo
of blue, grey and silver was unveiled by the company's CEO Dhananjaya
Chandrasekera against the backdrop of the Colombo city skyscape. This
redesign is the first in eight years for the company.
The new logo is iconic in that it depicts the letters J, K, C and S
in a stylised visual along with the elements that portray the company's
strengths - a strong corporate foundation, global reach, technology
competence and a dynamic team.
In his opening speech, Chandrasekera commended the team for their
work in making JKCS a recognised name in the aviation industry and also
revealed the plans laid out for the company in the coming years.
JKCS is taking its new logo to aviation fora and media around the
world to popularise its image among airline circles as an innovative and
agile company that is able to offer customer-centric solutions. The
launch comes in the wake of JKCS delivering Sri Lanka's largest airline
IT project and signing on yet another big airline account in the Middle
East.
Proposing the toast to the new logo, Sujiva Dewaraja - IT Sector Head
of John Keells Group said, "It is apt we toast JKCS as the company is
like a bottle of champagne about to pop. It has so much potential and is
ready to break into a new level of high-powered performance".
The chief guest of the evening was the President of the IT Group of
John Keells, Romesh David. He congratulated the JKCS team for their
achievements and wished them well on the forward journey.
David said that JKCS had the "right team" in place to achieve its
bold targets. |
