Java based education for your child

The current job market is mainly focused on Information Communication Technology (ICT). Even to embark upon a modest career a knowledge of IT is a must. There fore parents should have a clear idea about giving IT education for their child. When children show enthusiasm in the field of IT they need proper guidance in their IT education. Child expects first hand guidance and information from their parents.

Unlike in the other fields, for anybody to succeed in the IT field they must acquire both academic and professional qualifications. At present O/L and A/L are the most primitive academic qualifications available in Sri Lanka.

At the same time, if somebody has a professional qualification along with A/L, that enables him to get better than others. This is true even for those who have obtained a degree from a university. A professional qualification is a major requirement not only to get well paid jobs, but also to get quick promotions in the private sector.

Even though most of the parents are aware of professional qualifications in all other areas, they may not be aware of the professional qualifications in the IT field. In the IT field, professional qualifications are known as Certifications.

These certifications are highly recognized as the candidate is certified by the company which owns the particular subject. Unlike in the other fields, there are owners for each and every subject. In the IT field, these certifications are not only recognized within the country, but also internationally as well, a fact that cannot be challenged by anybody.

If your child is keen on a particular IT subject or a programming language, he cannot claim to be professionally qualified. For him to get a high end IT job, he should get certified from the company who owns the subject, said a release from the Institute of Java & Technological studies.

Capabilities of Java are unbelievable. They can be explained with some simple examples. Today the microprocessors of almost all home appliances like watches, microwave ovens, washing machines, TVs, radio, cassettes, musical instruments and refrigerators are programmed with Java.

All scientific, medical, mechanical equipments are also programmed with Java. Today most of the electronic concerting units (ECUs) of motor vehicles are programmed with Java. One of the most impressive technologies provided by Java is the ATM technology, through which you can withdraw money using a teller machine using a card without waiting in queues at banks, the release added.
