DREADFUL DECEMBER

READFUL DECEMBER, an effort by the Underground Metal Circle (UMC), is hyped to be one of the biggest rock concerts ever to take place in the island of Sri Lanka. "The floodgates of young talent will be unravelled at the Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre on the 30th of December 2006."

he event is scheduled to kick off at around three in the evening and expected to continue till midnight.

his project is expected to set a milestone upon the local music industry by bringing local talent to the limelight. The show is going to be the first ever daytime open air rock concert in Sri Lankan rock music history.

We are expecting to draw a crowd of around 5000 rock fans. Entrance to this show will be free of charge thus enabling a majority of fans from various walks of life to come together to celebrate an evening of rock 'n' roll."
